‘Grey & Green’

Shaurav Sharma
All above, in the blue sky
Cloud grey as fairy cotton
As Diamond, rain drops twinkling
Seeing birds fly, my heart is beating

Green leaves canopy, birds on the tree
some grey, some green, feathers clean
Fallen leaves brown, sky isn’t blue now
Tree canopy is green, the sky is grey

As her beauty, the scenery is mesmerizing
All I feel is the wind blowing raindrops’ kissing

Blue sky & green hills covered with grey cloud
Pair birds, sheltering in nest, chirping isn’t loud
Flower ashamed of own beauty in canopy of green
Birds keen to whisper the melody in beautiful seen

Blessed to be here in the lap of hills
On the blue planet, beside Himalayas
Crown of omnipresent & omniscient lord Shiva
I stood on the bank of Narayani, diffusing in Ganga
