Godawari Residential School, Lalitpur, in coordination with Godawari Municipality and the Godawari Literary Council, is set to host the ‘Godawari Art and Literature Festival-2025’ on January 30 and 31 (Magh 17-18). The two-day festival will feature a range of literary and cultural activities, including story and poetry recitation sessions, workshops, theatre performances, panel discussions, live music performances, cultural artworks and performances, and an educational exhibition. Aimed at promoting local art and literature, the festival’s slogan reads, “Preserving Cultural Heritage Through Art and Literature.”
Solomon Tamang, a member of the event’s steering committee, said that preparations for the festival are underway. “For now, we are finalizing different experts on the relevant topics, and we will soon release the event itinerary,” he said.
The event will take place on the premises of Godawari Residential School in Lalitpur.
