Ghanashyam Rajkarnikar’s research-based memoir ‘Samjhanama Mera Purkha’ (In Memory of My Ancestors) has been launched. During the book launch event held in Kathmandu, author Rajkarnikar expressed his endeavor to honestly document his ancestral legacy, ensuring that people do not forget their roots. This memoir encapsulates the struggles faced by his ancestors, interesting anecdotes from his father’s establishment of Krishna Bread, and the journey from past to present.

Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Krishna Prasad Dahal noted that the book not only narrates the history of the Rajkarnikar family but also encompasses the story of industrial progress.

Poet and critic Mahesh Paudyal considered the book as the tales of Rajkarnikar’s ancestors and the history of the bread industry in Nepal.

President of Nepal Srastha Samaj Shree Om Shrestha commended author Rajkarnikar for his candor in the book, especially at a time when memoir writers often tend to glorify themselves.
