Gandaki Pragya Prathisathan has decided to confer this year’s ‘Gandaki Pragya Sahitya Samman’ upon poet and novelist Bhupin. Poet Bhupin was chosen for the award recognizing his literary contributions. The award will be presented to recipient Bhupin on the establishment day of the Prathisthan. The award carries a purse of 1,00,000 rupees.
Gandaki Pragya Prathisthan has been honoring different literary personalities who have made a significant contribution to Nepali language, literature, art and culture.
Poet Bhupin has many literary works to his credit. Kashyatigrasta Pritivi ra Mul Sadak(2053), Hajar Barshako Nindra( 2066), Suplako Hawaijahaj (2072), Chaubis Reel(2069), Maudaro(2052) Bhupin ka Kabita(2080) are among his published works.
