Footprint on Sand

Rudra Adhikari

When I reached the sea beach,
I realised that I am from landlocked country,
When water waves touched my feet,
I memorised my childhood, swimming on small pond,
Whenever I dive for swimming,
I start thinking, why there is no sea in Nepal?
Later I understood, Nepal is not only landlocked country,
There are lots of natural beauty things, which only can find in Nepal.
The view of the sea that never goes beyond looking at,
When i look at the sky and the clouds,
It’s look like that the sea is covering by blue and white umbrella,
It is a special pleasure to watch the waves, formed by throwing stones in the sea,
When the foot print made in the sand is wetted with water  and spoils it,
It seems to me that the joys and sorrows that come in life are like the foot print in the sand,
No matter how deep the impression is,
It will not take long to be erased.
