Kabidada Literature Society has shortlisted Five books for Kabidada Fiction Award 2079 through a press release issued on September 8, 2023.
According to the notice, the titles of the shortlisted fictions are Aato oda by Januka Khatiwada, Aithan by Bibek Ojha, Baa Ama by Ramlal Joshi, Manu by Devi Prasad Subedi and Santap Ko Dhun by Ashok Thapa.
The notice also reads that one among the shortlisted five will be declared the winner of the literary award.
While, Bibek Ojha’s Aithan and Devi Prasad Subedi’s Manu have also been declared the winners of Madan Puraskar and Padmashree Literature Award, 2079 respectively.
Established in 2060 BS with an aim to promote Nepali literature, Kabidada Literature Society has been conducting Kabidada Fiction Award conferred annually upon a Nepali fiction considered to be the best in a given year.
