Dr. Solu’s ‘Tuin Jindagi’ Unveiled

Dr. Renuka Solu’s Tuin Jindagi, a collection of memoir essays, was unveiled during a grand literary ceremony held at the library hall of the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus, on September 27.

The book was collectively launched by Member of Parliament Gagan Kumar Thapa, senior literary figure Maya Thakuri, Prof. Dr. Savitri Malla Kakshapati, playwright Ashesh Malla, social worker Angelu Sherpa, senior vice president of the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) Karma Sherpa, and critics Dr. Damodar Pudasaini Kishor, Dr. Geeta Tripathi, Gyanu Adhikari, along with the author’s spouse Bal Bahadur Thapa, and Dr. Renuka Solu.

The book was reviewed on various themes, including “Society: Past and Present” by Dr. Damodar Pudasaini Kishor, the social aspects by Gyanu Adhikari, and “Feminism and Female Consciousness” by Dr. Geeta Tripathi.

Honorable MP Gagan Kumar Thapa, Maya Thakuri, Prof. Dr. Savitri Malla Kakshapati, Angelu Sherpa, and Karma Sherpa delivered congratulatory remarks. Rackshya Thapa gave the welcome speech, while the program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Renuka Solu. The event was hosted by literary figure Bhairavi Bhugol.
