Renowned cardiologist Dr. Rajendra Koju has released his latest book Mutuko Katha. The book was officially launched during an event held in Kathmandu, with prominent figures including Dr. Sanduk Ruit, Dr. Bhagwan Koirala, Dr. Ramkantha Makaju, Dr. Smriti Shakya, actor Hari Bansha Acharya, and Dr. Koju himself participating in the event.
Veteran actor Acharya described the book as a guide to well-being, stating, “Reading this book will help you lead a heart-healthy lifestyle.”
Dr. Bhagwan Koirala, a leading cardiologist, praised the author’s efforts, saying, “Writing a book is a virtuous act, and reading it is equally meritorious. The stories in this book resonate with my own experiences as a heart doctor.”
Similarly, Dr. Smriti Shakya emphasized the importance of balancing lifestyle and diet, as highlighted in the book. “By following the advice shared here, we can protect our hearts and enjoy longer lives,” she said.
Dr. Sanduk Ruit noted the book’s universal appeal and practicality. “It conveys the vital message that a healthy heart is key to a healthy life,” he remarked.
Dr. Ramkantha Makaju, Executive Director of Dhulikhel Hospital, described the book as a constant reminder to prioritize good health.
Reflecting on his work, Dr. Koju shared that the book narrates real-life stories of patients he has treated and learned from throughout his career. “I hope these stories contribute to the welfare of humanity,” he said.
