Dr. Chandra Giri’s travel memoir collection titled Sansarko Serophero has been published.
Giri, known for his work in mapping and monitoring the world’s mangroves, shares fascinating facts about various places around the world in this book.
Having traveled to 126 countries over thirty years, Giri writes about the cultures, histories, activities, cuisines, and lifestyles of the places he visited, along with his personal experiences.

Dr. Giri, who has collaborated with many global leaders, explains that this book is a record of his travels, both formal and informal. Born in Khotang, Dr. Giri now serves as a senior advisor at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and as an adjunct professor at Duke University. He has experience working in government, education, and private sectors around the world.
Giri started his career as a government employee in Nepal. He has also worked with top institutions like the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), Columbia University, Duke University, North Carolina State University, South Dakota State University, and the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
Published by Sahityapost, the book contains 36 travel memoirs. It has 250 pages and is priced at 450 rupees in Nepal and 10 USD outside Nepal.
