Crafting Compassion: Building Empathy Through Diverse Teaching Materials

Dipendra Prasad Shah

In Nepal’s classrooms, teachers stand so tall,
With teaching aids, they weave a vibrant thrall,
Like artists with brushes, they paint the way,
Guiding young minds to the light of day.

Beyond facts and figures, a lesson to find,
Hearts and minds growing, both strong and entwined.
With SEL* in pages, emotions take flight,
Raising kind thinkers, a future so bright.

Their hands hold magic, like a weaver’s thread,
Teaching aids woven, where knowledge is spread,
Metaphors and similes dance on the breeze,
As teachers empower with skill and ease.

With flashcards like stars that light up the night,
They bring words to life, setting minds in flight,
Like sunflowers turning towards the sun,
Teaching aids help learning and growth be won.

Charts and posters, like blooming flowers bright,
Capture attention, filling hearts with delight,
Their colors and images, stories they tell,
Unlocking young minds from their learning shell.

In classrooms adorned with technology’s grace,
Interactive boards become a sacred space,
Like constellations in the vast night sky,
Teaching aids help students reach up high.

So, here’s to the teachers, skilled and profound,
With teaching aids in their hands, they’re renowned,
Guiding the future with wisdom and care,
Nurturing minds with a love beyond compare.
