COMPANY WITH A POET

Santosh Kumar Pokharel

Come with me,
I’ll take you to the sky,
And you can see everything on the earth from there.
See the marks of morals
And scars that may you scare.
Covered under veils, truths,
And grinning lies laid bare,
Nothing will you leave spare!

I’ll be with you all the while,
And you shall have a bit of toil,
See if something is there,
That breaks you,
And that’s no way fair.
To break this unfair,
You take my look to there.

I’ll be with you,
Above in the sky.
From the skies, we can stare
At what’s good for us and to us unfair.
Hope you are well aware.

Let’s take a jingle,
And let our interests mingle.
But see, the skies of ours
For each of us come single!

Our sovereign skies,
They still have to rise,
And we will see from high,
With our own eyes,
What we are counted on.
