This year’s Jestha Nagarik Barsha Purus Puraskar will be conferred on Krishna Murari Gautam who is popularly known as Chatyang Master. The award, decided by the ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizen, will be presented to poet, comedian and social activist Chatyang Master for his dedication to the betterment of aging population of the country. The award will be conferred on 11th of Poush observeing the Senior Citizen Day.
The award carries a purse of 100000 rupees.
