This year’s Chakrapadi Chalise Samman Puraskar has been decided to confer on litterateur Arjun Birakti. President of the award foundation Ram Mani Dungel said that the literary award, founded in the name of litterateur Chakrapadi Chalise, will be presented to Arjun Birakti.
The award will be presented on 20th of Kartik amid a literary event that is likely to take place in Katunje, Bhaktapur. Last year, Kishwor Pahadi, editor- in-chief of Sabdapath, was the recipient of the award.
While, it is said that the event will also take the opportunity to honor the 2079 SEE graduates from Suryabinayak Municipality securing 4 GPA in Nepali subject with Baijnath Subhadra Chalise Protsan Puraskar. Among the award receiving students are Subas Bhattrai( Marigold English Boarding School), Suprava Karki ( Precious Public English School) and Suwarna Baidya ( Precious Public English School).
