In a progressive move towards embracing digital education, the Central Department of Nepal Bhasa at Patan Multiple Campus under Tribhuvan University has initiated E-Library, revolutionizing access to resources for students and scholars. The department, while preparing to digitalize all its study materials, has included around 6000 books in E- Library as inaugural step.
Adding thousands of books related to Newari language, arts, literature, and culture, the E-library aims to make these resources accessible to readers worldwide.
According to the Department, there are around 60 thousand study materials currently available in the department while it is aiming reach 1 hundred thousand digitalized books in the near future.
The department has also received 5 million rupees as a financial contribution from Kathmandu Metropolis to execute its E-Library project.
