Kristy Raines
Let the day turn into dusk, for my heart yearns
Draw me close… I miss your breath on me
Your love has kept me in a torturous cell
as I wonder when you will come for me
If this is the hell I must endure for your love
then, burn me deeply into your memory
Let me dress the wounds of your heart
with the touch of my lips and silken hands
Dry the tears that now drip on me like rain
as they soak into the center of my heart
Bring on the night so I can feel your depth
Come, sleep in the arms of my love tonight..
