Poet Binay Kumar Bhandari’s poetry collection ‘Samatnalai Raja Narendra Devko Had Pairaheko Chaina’ is set to be released. The book, being published by Shabda Media Pvt. Ltd., the parent company of Sahityapost, will be made publicly available in the first week of Ashar (mid-June).
In the collected poems, Bhandari uses historical figures to speak about various aspects of contemporary times. He said that the book was titled ‘Samatnalai Raja Narendra Devko Had Pairaheko Chaina’ based on King Narendra Dev, an important historical figure of Nepal.
Most of the poem titles consist of 5 or 6 words, and many feature historical figures and places. The reason for this is the presence and symbolic depiction of historical figures in the titles, Bhandari states.
The collection includes 51 poems, each of which is accompanied by illustrations. The book will be priced at 500 rupees, as announced by Sahityapost.
Bhandari, who began his book journey with the digital publication of his poetry collection ‘Timro Deh Mero Janmadin Ho,’ is now releasing his second poetry collection ‘Samatnalai Raja Narendra Devko Had Pairaheko Chaina’.
