Bhairav Puraskar Guthi Announces Recipients of Three Prestigious Literary Awards

The Bhairav Puraskar Guthi has announced the names of recipients for three different awards established in memory of the great Nepali literary figure, Bhairav Aryal.

According to the announcement, the Bhairav Puraskar for the year 2081 will be awarded to satirist Laxman Gamnage, with a cash prize of NPR 111,111.

Similarly, the Bhairav Wangmaya Puraskar, with a cash prize of NPR 101,111, will be presented to Chudamani Gautam. Additionally, the Bhairav Pratibha Puraskar, carrying a cash prize of NPR 51,111, will be awarded to artist Laxmi Giri.

The names of the awardees were approved in a meeting chaired by senior literary figure Rojak Ghimire, president of the Bhairav Puraskar Guthi. To select the awardees, the Guthi formed a selection committee led by literary figure Gopal Baral, along with fellow writers Naranath Luitel and Harikala Upreti as members.
