Bagmati Literature Festival 2081 to be Held in Dhading

Dhading – The “Bagmati Literature Festival 2081” is set to take place on Falgun 16 and 17 at Neelkantha Balmadir Secondary School in Dhadingbesi. The festival is being organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Bagmati Province in coordination with stakeholders from Dhading.

With the slogan “Promotion of Literature, Art, and Culture; Preservation of Bagmati Civilization,” the festival aims to bring new energy to the literary sphere of the province.

The festival will feature 14 engaging sessions, including 11 panel discussions, a poetry evening, a ghazal evening, and a creative session. Renowned writers, poets, artists, and literature enthusiasts from various fields will participate, with the goal of promoting the art, literature, and culture of Bagmati Province.

The coordinator of the festival and Chief of the Division Forest Office, Dhading, Bishnu Prasad Acharya, expressed his belief that the festival will infuse new vitality into the literary scene of Bagmati Province. He emphasized that the event is expected to further strengthen literary activities at the provincial level.

According to a press release issued by the organizers, the festival will also serve as a platform to convey the government’s initiative towards policy-making and guideline formulation for the establishment of the Bagmati Province Academy of Literature and Culture.
