The Office of the Attorney General of Bagmati Province has announced an essay competition on the occasion of its establishment day. The essay competition is titled “The Role of Chief Attorney General in Strengthening Federalism”.
The Office has asked the participants to submit their essays, not exceeding 2500 words, via email by March 18. According to the office, an evaluation of the essays will be conducted on March 19, with the announcement of the shortlists. The office has informed that the winners of the competition will be honored during the official program of the office’s establishment day on March 25.
Assistant Attorney General of Bagmati Province Thakur Ram Bhandari informed that the top five essayists will be awarded with the cash prizes of 10,000 rupees for the first place, 7,000 rupess for the second place, 5,000 rupees for the third place, and 4,000 rupees each for two consolation prizes.
The competition will be attended by individuals such as lawyers, professors, legal professionals, government attorneys, teachers, students, among others. Bagmati Province’s Chief Attorney General, Honorable Gyanendra Nepal, has expressed expectations of receiving creative suggestions regarding the office’s role.
