Anup Gurung has stood first in ‘Nepali Caricature Exhibition 2080’ held at Nepal Academy of Fine Arts. Gurung’s caricature on journalist Narayan Wagle was declared first in the competition.
While, Anisha Bhandari and Vishwa Thapa secured the second and third position respectively in the competition.
A total of 33 cartoonists and artists had participated in the exhibition. Among the participants, 22 were competitors while the remaining had participated as non-competitors. The exhibition, which is being carried out at the premises of Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, will continue till March 13.
The exhibition was jointly organized by the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, the Department of Architecture, the Cartoonist Club of Nepal, including other creative clubs.
