An Embellished Attachment

Bipin Tiwari

feel my nerves and see
how they play.

Likewise, I feel
and play
with my child
saying, “Kuk kuuuu

He smiles
and plays
with me;
touches my prickly hair
and beardy face,
and looks at me
with ardent eyes.

In an era
of accomplishment
I endow him
with every path
of deep lochan.

To gift him
a pieces of dust
lying in the stars

So that
he could induce himself
in the name of mine
and call me ‘Baba’
