Ram Bahadur was a genuine person in his town. He lived with his two children, Bharat and Ram, both in the eighth grade, and his wife Sushma, who worked as a beautician.
Ram Bahadur was involved in the business of five-star hotels. Some of his popular hotels were Hotel Kamana, Hotel Shivanta, and Hotel Red Star etc.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he suffered significant losses in his business. He couldn’t pay his employees’ salaries, leading to the dismissal of over 30% of his staff. Although the manpower became low, it could not make him to take easy breath. The tension arose because of loss, he was unable to pay fees of his children. Similarly, his wife’s business was closed.
Their sole source of income became the rent from their tenants. Now, they could only afford basic needs of the family. Seeing the family’s condition, he felt pain in his heart
He decided to stage his death as an accident so that his family could claim his insurance money. Before taking his own life, he wrote a heartfelt note.
Dear wife and my children,
It is my last journey on the earth. Since everybody has to go once in heaven, it will matter who will go first. I am leaving all of you with a very sorrow. I cannot handle the situation you all are facing. Shush ma please make my kids very intelligent so that they can handle business in a tactful way. I know there is nothing stronger than time but I cannot have a deep patience. Now it’s my time to go. I love all of you forever. Good Bye!
