Amidst the vibrant ambiance of World Theatre Day celebrations, Mandala Theatre announced the eagerly anticipated 3rd Nepal International Theatre Festival, scheduled from March 16 to 27 in 2025.
The upcoming theatre festival will resonate the theme of ‘Theatre for Social Transformation: Light of Indigenous Wisdom’.
Mandala Theatre also announced the plan to open the call for drama submissions from April of this year.
Speaking at the programme, Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Hit Bahadur Tamang affirmed the government’s plan to include theatre in the new cultural policy, emphasizing his strong commitment to promoting and developing Nepali theatre.
