Issuing a press release, the Lalbandi Municipal Literature Council has shortlisted 10 books for the ‘Lalbandi Municipal Literature Council Language and Literature Award–2081’.
The council, established for the preservation of language, art, literature, music, and culture, announced the shortlisted works based on the recommendations of an independent panel of experts. The selected works include:
1. Antar by Ramesh Sayan
2.Kali Karnaliko Lok Sahitya ra Sanskriti by Yagyaraj Upadhyay
3. Jogiyana by Kumar Nagarkoti
4. Nepali Sangeet Darbar by Prof. Dr. Dhruvesh Chandra Regmi
5. Purush Pariksha by Dhirendra Premarshi
6. Prashnaharu ta Baanki Nai Rahanchhan by Momila Joshi
7. Budhipolli by Khem Batas
8. Bora by Akhand Bhandari
9. Bhupinka Kavita by Bhupin
10. Mukam Ranmaidan by Mohan Mainali
Council Chairman Achyut Adhikari stated that out of the works received by the council, the Selection Committee will consider one among the selected for the award.
The award includes a cash prize of 50,000 rupees and a certificate.
