The Kabidada Literature Society has announced a longlist of 10 books for the ‘Kabidada National Fiction-2080’, as per a press release issued on Shrawan 21( August 5).
According to the notice, the titles of the longlisted fictions are;
- Adiyeka Pailaharu (novel) by Bishnu Sapkota
- Advait(novel) by Krishna Gautam
- Antar (novel) by Ramesh Sayan
- Arko Deshma (story collection) by Sanu Sharma
- Gopichi ( novel) by Bishwa Kuikel
- Charaibeti (novel) by Jiban Jibanta
- Damphuko Atmalap ( Story collection) by Bhakta Shyangtang
- Budipolli (story collection) Khem Batas
- Bhrikuti( novel) by Govinda Prasad Kusum
- Santrash ka Satthi din (novel) by Roshan Thapa Nabin
The Society will soon release a shortlist of five books, from which the winner of the ‘Kabidada National Fiction-2080’ will be selected.
Established in 2060 BS, the Kabidada Literature Society aims to promote Nepali literature. It has been awarding the Kabidada Fiction Award annually to the best Nepali fiction of the year.
